Be diligent!

"Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace." (2 Peter 3:14)

Dear Lord, grant me the discipline to do exactly that which you have written for our exhortation and reminding. The cares of the world has its allure, often empowering and causing me to lose sight of that which is of utmost importance. Grant me the patience of waiting for that which is to come - the day of your return ans while you tarry, help me to be diligent in all that concerns you.

Don't joke about this

"You can have the best holiday in the world, all the masters education you want, the best possible job the best possible husband, the best possible friends and yet all these things put together will not even come close to what Jesus Christ gives and does for a person.
