One aspect of ministry that perhaps never get emphasized more is how mutual encouragement takes place.
I have taken on the task to disciple a few younger ones, hoping to encourage them and impart whatever I have that great and faithful men have taught me.
But it is a two way thing. Every time you do it, the party you are reaching to helps you as well. You do get encouraged by the person's faith.
It is not for nothing that Paul says:
"For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you - that is we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine." (Romans 1:11-12)
